চ্যানেল নিউজ : রেলপথে শরীরে ফেন্সিডিল বেঁধে ঢাকায় যাওয়ার পথে চার নারী আটক হয়েছে। আটকরা হলেন- আনোয়ারা (৪৪), মনোয়ারা বেগম (৩৬), মেরিনা (৪৬) ও ইতি (২৭)। তারা দিনাজপুর জেলার বিরামপুর উপজেলার পূর্ব জগন্নাথপুর ও মৌপুকুর এলাকার বাসিন্দা।
সোমবার রাত সাড়ে ১২টার দিকে জয়পুরহাট রেলস্টেশন থেকে তাদের আটক করা হয়।
জয়পুরহাট র্যাড়ব ক্যাম্পের অধিনায়ক মেজর শেখ সাদিক বলেন, ওই চার নারী মাদককারবারি ফেন্সিডিলগুলো ঢাকায় নিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। বাসে চড়ে এসব বহন করলে বিভিন্ন চেকপোস্টে পড়তো। তাই আইনশৃঙ্খলাবাহিনীর নজর এড়াতে তারা রেলপথ বেছে নেন। তবে আমরা তাদের আটক করেছি।
